Influenced by the Dutch Masters, it was only natural for Dick to choose to paint classic still
lifes in oils. He found it a perfect way of expressing his Nordic heritage.
A successful painter for the last 25 years, Larsen's work is currently represented by
galleries from Georgetown, Washington, D.C. to Palm Beach, Florida. His paintings are also
included in corporate and private collections throughout the eastern United States.
His formal education includes degrees from the Meinsinger School of Art in Detroit, Michigan, and the prestigious Art Center of Los
Angeles, California. Dick has also studied under such famous illustrators and painters as Bernie Fuchs, Mark English, Coby
Whitmore, and John Kilmaster.
